Jonas Reinhold was born 1996 in Schwerin, where he started to play the violin at the age of five. His first violin teacher was Ildikó Wilhelm, with whom he was often very successful at the competition “Jugend Musiziert”.
Jonas Reinhold was a Soloist with the Youth Symphony Orchestra Schwerin and he was concertmaster of the Youth Orchestra Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In 2012 he was the “Fiddler on the Roof” at the Mecklenburg State Theatre in Schwerin and played as a soloist with the Mecklenburg State Orchestra Schwerin in 2015.
Jonas Reinhold also worked with Maria Egelhof, Carlos Johnson, Frank Reinecke and Stephan Picard. From 2015 on he studied Violin at the University of Music and Theatre „Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy“ Leipzig with Yun Jin Cho (assistant concertmaster in Gewandhausorchester and Gewandhaus-Quartett) first in Bachelor, and from 2019 on in Master. Additionally, since 2018 he studies with his string quartet „Gyldfeldt Quartett“ at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía Madrid in the class of Günter Pichler. The quartet is quite successful and had his debut in the Berliner Philharmonie in 2020.
